I am a freelance theatre producer/arts marketer with a background in programming, producing, marketing and market research in the UK cultural sector.
As of 2017, I am working towards a PhD in the School of Performance and Cultural Industries at Leeds University (WRoCAH studentship) exploring how a deeper anthropological understanding of audience/artist models of engagement in live performance might allow us to critically assess dominant marketing practice in the sector.
I am excited by the opportunities that the INARPA network presents to explore together innovations in audience research and how we might learn to better communicate the value of live performance more authentically in academia and arts management/practice.
